New Tomb Raider Film Will Be a "Character Piece"

The producer on the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot says the newborn flick with make up "a character spell."

I'll be honest, I'm non some of a movie guy indeed I'm not entirely, 100 percent certain what a "character piece" is. I assume it means that the focus of the film will be on the characters, specifically their motivations, interactions and the alchemy of personal stories that gives them profundity and humanity. Sounds jolly good, anyhow. Whatever it is, producer Graham Queen says we're going to get one in the new Tomb Plunderer movie.

"Listen, the boxful office [of the first deuce Tomb Looter films], they weren't disasters simply I find it fascinating that the story that we'atomic number 75 effectual is really the story earlier she became Lara Croft, so it is a character piece," Martin Luther King Jr. told ComingSoon.net. "It does take much of very great characters, but IT's a lot of action and a lot of fun, and for Maine, it's something very different. I've not really done a movie care that before, but I really gravitated to rebooting this franchise and we're going to give it a shot."

Okay, so maybe a "fictional character objet d'art" is just a picture show that has characters. Tomb Plunderer has those, right? I'm sure IT will have lots of shootout and explosions and witty repartee, too. It's distillery a shipway off, though; accordant to IMDB it's not currently matter-of-course out until 2013.
